Noncredit Certificate Programs
Tuition-free noncredit education at Citrus College supports lifelong learning by helping students strengthen skills, pursue personal growth and prepare for academic or career advancement. Courses — offered in person and online — include basic skills, English as a Second Language (ESL) and a variety of certificate programs designed to build workforce readiness or provide a pathway to further education.
Noncredit courses are offered on an open-entry, open-exit basis, giving students the flexibility to begin or complete classes according to their schedules. These classes are completely free — there are no registration fees, no residency requirements or prerequisites.
Noncredit education is an excellent option for students seeking to improve literacy, gain practical job skills or prepare for transition into credit-bearing coursework. By removing barriers to access, Citrus College ensures that all students have the opportunity to enhance their knowledge, achieve their goals and expand their opportunities.
