At Citrus College, the Welcome Center is your year-round resource for success. Whether you're a new Owl taking off or a returning student staying on course, the center offers guidance on registration, financial aid and campus connections to help you thrive. Friendly staff are available online and in person to assist with applications, enrollment steps, student records and troubleshooting account issues.

The Welcome Center also supports prospective students exploring their options and community members seeking information. Services include campus tours, directions and answers to questions about programs, support services and student life. It's your central hub for getting started, staying supported and finding your way — wherever you are on your Citrus College journey.

PRIOR TO YOUR FIRST DAY

Prior to the first day of class, be certain to do the following.

  • Check your email regularly for announcements and updates.
  • Review the class schedule to determine:
    • if your class meets on campus or online.
    • if your online class is synchronous or asynchronous.
      • Synchronous learning is interactive, two-way online or distance education that happens in real time with an instructor.
      • Asynchronous learning occurs virtually online and through prepared resources, without real-time instructor-led interaction.
  • Familiarize yourself with building locations and room numbers of classrooms if taking classes on campus.
  • Review your financial aid status.
  • Become familiar with available student programs and services.

PARKING ON CAMPUS

Parking permits are required for students, and are required in all campus parking lots, at all times.

  • Parking permits go sale Friday, December 5, 2025, and can be purchased online through the iParq website.
  • Winter permits are $34 or $30 for California College Promise Grant (CCPG) students.
  • Permits are required in student stalls for the winter session starting on Monday, January 12, 2026.

ENROLLMENT SERVICES

  • Admissions and Records
    Located on the first floor of the Student Services Building in SS 115, the admissions and records staff are available to assist students with application, residency, registration, enrollment, student petitions and academic policies.

  • Financial Aid
    Located on the first floor of the Student Services Building in SS 115, our financial aid personnel assist students with general questions and provide support completing a financial aid application. Students can view their financial aid status, award offer and more using the financial aid dashboard.

  • International Student Center
    Located in the Student Services Building, first floor, SS 164, the ISC provides programs and services for international students that lead to successful completion of degrees, transfer requirements, skill certificates and English as a Second Language (ESL) courses, while enriching the college campus with cultural and global diversity.

  • Promise
    The Citrus College Promise (Promise) program prepares new first-time college students to be successful and achieve their academic goals. Completion specialists are available to assist eligible students with any questions in the Student Services Building, second floor, in SS 214.
