Earlier this year, Citrus College alumna Serina Mummert reflected on her upbringing and academic journey in a video testimonial.

As a student, Serina was involved in many aspects of the campus community.

Passionate about physics and many other subjects, she excelled in the classroom and was active as a student trustee and with the Citrus College Phi Theta Kappa Beta Nu Eta Chapter. She also sang and performed in Europe with Night Shift, Citrus College's premier student R and B vocal and instrumental music ensemble.

After graduating in June 2023, Serina transferred to UC Berkeley.
