Congratulations to Citrus College student Emilio Pichardo, who shared his Citrus Story with the campus community at Convocation last month!

A graduate of Temple City High School, Emilio is currently double majoring in music and history. He is also a member of the acclaimed Citrus Singers, who recently traveled to Romania and Hungary as part of an educational performance tour.

After graduating from Citrus College, Emilio plans to transfer to California State University, Fullerton, and use his degree to follow in the footsteps of faculty member, Citrus Singers director and mentor, Doug Austin.

"It is a dream of mine to not only teach others music and history, but to inspire people to pursue their passions and to dream," Emilio said.
