ABEL MARQUEZ
A DIRECTOR'S NEXT ACT: JUILLIARD AND KENNEDY
Citrus College theatre student Abel Marquez (pictured on the right in the image above), who was a finalist at the Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival in April after winning the Region 8 Directing Fellowship, continues to receive honors and accolades.
On the final day of his conference, Abel was awarded a scholarship to the prestigious The Juilliard School in New York City for their "Artist as Citizen Conference" this summer, as well as a return to the The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts for a Directing Intensive for developing new plays.
