Residency Status Fees
California Resident
(a student who has lived in California for at least one year and one day before the term starts and plans to stay permanently)
In-state residents attend Citrus College tuition-free and are exempt from capital outlay fees.
Nonresident, Out-of-State Student
(a student who has not resided in California for more than one year before the term begins)
Students who do not meet the California residency requirements are required to pay the additional per unit nonresident tuition and capital outlay fees.
International Student International students are required to pay additional per unit international student tuition and capital outlay fees.

Enrollment Fee: $46 per unit
The enrollment fee is determined by the California State Legislature and is subject to change.

Tuition and Capital Outlay
The college board of trustees establishes the tuition amount to be assessed to nonresidents and international students for the next academic year (beginning with the fall term).

Paying Fees and Other Cash Transactions

Please visit the cashier's window to pay class fees by cash, pay club dues and deposit fundraising monies, in addition to other student-related business.

The cashier is located on the lower level of the Student Services Building at SS 124. A photo ID is required for all transactions.

Visit the bursar's window, located on the second floor of the Administration ​Building in AD 207, for warrant replacements and other district-related transactions. A photo ID is required for all transactions. ​​

The GoPass is a reusable electronic TAP sticker which allows Citrus College students to ride Foothill Transit, local and Silver Streak lines and Metro bus and rail.

The health service fee may be waived only by those students whose religious beliefs require that they rely solely on prayer for healing and for students enrolled in an approved apprenticeship training program. Students can petition to waive the health service fee by picking up a waiver form at the Student Wellness Center, located on the first floor of the SS Building. The form must be complete and submitted, with documentation, to the Student Wellness Center for review.

The health fee is reduced by $5 for students whose enrollment fees are paid by California College Promise Grant.

Please note: In accordance with board policy 5030 and administrative procedure 5030, "online only" students will be subject to the student health fee starting winter 2025.

The parking fee for CCPG recipients are $30 for each semester/session.

Permits are required for all on-campus parking. Visitors who attend events which are not regularly scheduled, but are campus-sponsored, will be need to purchase a daily parking permit for $5 either at campus safety, located at the Citrus Avenue entrance, or at an automated pay station in parking lots S1, S2, S3, S4 and S8.

Campus safety utilizes iParq, an online tool that will allow students to conveniently purchase their parking pass online. iParq eliminates waiting in line to purchase a parking pass. All parking permits are "virtual." The vehicle license plate you register when purchasing your parking permit will act as your "virtual" parking permit.​

Fall and Spring: $2
Winter and Summer: $0

The $2 student representation fee is used by the Associated Students of Citrus College and the Student Senate of California Community Colleges to advocate and lobby for legislative issues that affect and benefit community colleges and community college students both at the state and federal level.

A student may refuse to pay this fee by completing the Student Representation Fee Waiver Form each semester prior to paying for classes and completing the registration process. This fee is non-refundable.

Fall and Spring: $15
Winter and Summer: $10

The student service fee may be waived prior to payment by completing the Student Service Fee Waiver Form.

Once the fee has been waived, you may be able to pay your bill.

Waiving or receiving a refund of the student service fee makes a student ineligible for the benefits associated with this fee.

NOTE: Citrus College will withhold degrees, registration privileges or any combination thereof from any student or former student who has failed to pay any financial obligation to the college (e.g. returned check, unpaid registration fee, etc.). Any hold on a student's record will be released when the student satisfactorily meets his or her debt obligation. Debts must be paid in the form of cash or money order, and a bank service charge will be added to the amount due.​

Nonresidents: Out-of-state students are required to pay an additional per unit nonresident tuition, in addition to the $46 per unit enrollment fee (see tuition details above). These costs will be added to their budgets.
