The Citrus Community College District Board of Trustees establishes policies, approves current and long-range educational plans and programs and promotes orderly growth and development of Citrus College.

Residents of the communities encompassing the district – Azusa, Bradbury, Claremont, Duarte, Glendora, Monrovia and portions of San Dimas, La Verne, Pomona, Arcadia, Covina and Irwindale – elect a representative to serve on the board for a four-year term. The board of trustees district area map is available to review online. The student trustee is elected annually in a general student body election and serves on the board in a non-voting capacity.
