Student Account Assistance

WHAT IS MY USERNAME?

First, you must be a registered student to receive a username.

Next, your username is the portion of your Citrus College email address that appears before the "@" sign.

Whether you have forgotten your password or just need to change it for security purposes, follow these steps to reset your Citrus College account password, including Office 365, Banner/Wingspan, Canvas, campus portal and on-campus computers.


IF YOU KNOW YOUR CURRENT PASSWORD
CHANGING YOUR PASSWORD

STEP 1: Sign In

  1. Go to Microsoft Outlook
  2. Sign in with your current Citrus College email credentials

STEP 2: Open Account Settings

  1. Click on your profile picture or initials in the top-right corner
  2. Select "View Account"

STEP 3: Change Your Password

  1. In the left-hand menu, click "Security Info" or "Password"
  2. Click "Change Password"
  3. Enter your current password, then your new password twice
  4. Click Submit or Save

Your password has now been updated.


IF YOU FORGOT YOUR PASSWORD
RESETTING YOUR PASSWORD

STEP 1: Go to the Reset Page

  1. Visit Microsoft Online Password Reset

STEP 2: Verify Your Identity

  1. Enter your Citrus College email address
  2. Enter the characters shown (CAPTCHA) and click "Next"

STEP 3: Choose a Verification Method

  1. Choose how you would like to receive your security code (email, SMS or authenticator app)
  2. Enter the code sent to your selected method

STEP 4: Set a New Password

  1. Enter your new password twice
  2. Click "Finish"

You will see confirmation once your password has been successfully reset.


PASSWORD REQUIREMENTS

  • At least eight (8) characters
  • Includes uppercase, lowercase and a number or symbol
  • Cannot be any of your past passwords
  • Avoid common or easily guessed passwords

GENERAL LOGIN ASSISTANCE

Most systems at Citrus College use single sign-on (SSO), which allows you to access multiple applications with the same username and password.

  1. Go to the Citrus College my.citruscollege.edu portal.
  2. From the portal, select the system you wish to access (e.g., Citrus email, Wingspan, Canvas or other college applications).
  3. On the sign-in screen, enter your Citrus College email address (example: jackiedoe123@student.citruscollege.edu), then click "Next."
  4. Enter your Citrus College email password, then click "Sign In."
  5. You will be directed to the multi-factor authentication (MFA) page, where you must verify your identity using a secondary method.
  6. Once verified, you will be redirected to the selected application.

CANVAS LOGIN ASSISTANCE
