During the spring 2023 semester, Citrus College alumna Jor'Denay Collier-Brown discussed her upbringing and journey to Citrus College in a video testimonial.

As a student, Jor'Denay served as the college's first Black Scholars Student Ambassador. In that role, she acted as a mentor, informed students about school-wide events and activities and organized events and fundraisers.

Additionally, Jor'Denay earned five associate degrees in early childhood education, child development, child and adolescent development, psychology and sociology while at Citrus College.

After graduating in June 2023, Jor'Denay transferred to Cal Poly Pomona to major in early childhood studies.

We continue to cheer on Jor'Denay as she pursues her dreams. "Once an Owl, always an Owl!"
