The mission of the Student Wellness Center is to deliver high-quality healthcare services and support the overall wellbeing of students. All currently enrolled students who have paid the student health fee are eligible to access services.

To receive care, students must present either a valid Citrus College ID card or their printed class schedule along with a photo ID. For safety reasons, children are not allowed in the Student Wellness Center.

Many services are provided at no cost, though a small fee may apply for certain tests, medications or procedures. Free drug testing at the Student Wellness Center is also available to students.

APPOINTMENTS
Medical provider hours vary by semester, and services are only available while classes are in session. The Student Wellness Center is closed on weekends and official college holidays.

Many services are provided at no cost, though a small fee may apply for certain tests, medications or procedures. Free drug testing at the Student Wellness Center is also available to students.

Medical Appointment Scheduling

The Student Wellness Center offers a wide range of medical services to support student health. These include blood pressure and weight checks; drug testing; family planning and women's health services; and a variety of immunizations such as hepatitis B series, influenza, measles/mumps/rubella (MMR) and tetanus. Prescription medications are available at a low cost when prescribed by campus healthcare providers, such as physicians or nurse practitioners. Over-the-counter (non-prescription) medications are also available. Additional services include sexually transmitted disease (STD) testing, treatment for acute illnesses and ambulatory care and tuberculin (TB) skin testing.

Soluna is a free and confidential mental health support app and website designed to meet Californians between the ages of 13 and 25, wherever they are on their journey. Free Health Supplies
To help prevent the spread of COVID-19 and reduce drug overdoses, the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health is installing free, easy-to-use kiosks across the county. These kiosks will provide COVID-19 test kits, overdose prevention supplies and condoms — at no cost to the public. By increasing access to these essential resources, the program empowers residents to make informed choices and take proactive steps to protect their health.

Patients' Rights, Responsibilities, Confidentiality
All care and services provided at the Student Wellness Center are confidential. Exceptions may occur when there is a risk to the safety of the student or others or when required by law — as in cases of certain infectious diseases or situations involving abuse, which must be reported.

The Student Wellness Center does not provide medical excuse notes for academic issues. If an illness or injury is likely to cause a significant disruption to academic responsibilities — such as missing a test, submitting an assignment late or being absent from class — students are encouraged to notify their instructors as early as possible.
