STUDENT AMBASSADOR FOR SCHOOL RELATIONS AND OUTREACH
Job Duties
The student ambassador program supports school relations and outreach through a variety
of activities. Responsibilities include leading campus tours and assisting with high
school recruitment efforts. Student ambassadors also support event setup and cleanup
both on and off campus and represent the college at college and career fairs.
Additional duties include preparing materials for meetings and events, assisting with data entry and filing and performing general office tasks. Student workers also provide support at the Welcome Center as needed and contribute to special projects and other assigned responsibilities.
Requirements
Must be dependable, communicate effectively and have reliable transportation.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Must have a valid driver's license.
* This position involves direct contact with minors under 18. Employment is contingent
upon successful completion of screening.
Days/Hours
Monday to Friday, including some evenings and weekends, not to exceed 20 hours per
week.

STUDENT ASSISTANT FOR THE CAREER TECHNICAL EDUCATION DIVISION
Job Duties
This position supports the CTE Division with tasks such as event setup and cleanup
(on- and off-campus), tabling at CTE events, providing program presentations, creating
or updating presentations, preparing meeting/event materials, assisting with data
entry and filing, delivering/picking up items across campus and performing general
office duties.

Job Duties
Student tutors will include tutoring in approved subjects, maintaining the STEM Center
and its materials, attending required trainings and meetings and assisting with clerical
tasks as needed.
Requirements
Tutors must have earned an A or B in the relevant subject(s). A letter of recommendation
and unofficial transcripts must be provided upon request.
Applicants must be enrolled in 12 units or more at Citrus College, unless eligible
for Federal Work-Study.

STUDENT WORKER FOR THE HEALTH SCIENCES DEPARTMENT
Job Duties
Perform general office duties, which include:
- Ensure bulletin boards are up to date
- Maintain and check office inventory status (supply cabinet and break room cabinet)
- Open, log and store supplies received in the front office
- Pick up and deliver documents across campus as necessary
- Pick up and deliver requests from the campus print shop (reprographics) as necessary
- Present written items legibly and accurately
- Sort and deliver mail daily to correct inboxes once it is received from the mailroom
The following must be assigned and approved by the health sciences director:
- Assist program coordinators with program-related projects and events upon request
- Clean and disinfect static mannequins, practice models and IV arms at least once per week
- Compile and label folders, flyers and letters
- File office-related documents in the director's office
- Open and log in skills lab inventory as it is received
- Organize office files on a regular basis
- Photocopy, scan and collate requested materials for faculty and staff
- Prepare nursing kits for ADN and LVN students before the beginning of the fall and spring semesters
- Present written items legibly and accurately
- Provide office and phone coverage (screen and direct calls and visitors to appropriate personnel; respond to daily requests for information from students, staff and the general public regarding the program)
- Put linen back once received and organize the linen closet as needed
- Put linen out for pick up
- Any other tasks or projects assigned by the department director
Requirements
Student must demonstrate a strong willingness to learn, be flexible and have excellent
communication and customer service skills.
Days/Hours
Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and cannot exceed 20 hours per week.
