Accreditation 2021

Citrus College is accredited by the Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges (ACCJC) of the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC). ACCJC is an institutional accrediting body recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation and the U.S. Department of Education.

Accredited colleges undergo a comprehensive evaluation of their programs and services through self-study and peer review on a regular six-year cycle. This process ensures that institutions meet established standards of quality, integrity and effectiveness in serving students and their communities.

Citrus College received reaffirmation of its accreditation in January 2022 and continues to engage in ongoing institutional review and improvement as part of the current accreditation cycle.
