GHADAH "GIGI" ALOBAIDI
From computer science to architecture, Ghadah "Gigi" Alobaidi discovered a field that united creativity, service and leadership. Now she is preparing to transfer and pursue thoughtful design for homes, businesses and the communities they serve.

Code, construction and community now shape Celine Ama's future. After overcoming war and displacement, she found belonging at Citrus College, earned national scholarship recognition and set her sights on using technology to improve lives.
LORENZO DESIDERIO-GIAMPICCOLO
An international student's search for campus employment became a larger opportunity for Lorenzo Desiderio-Giampiccolo. Through the ambassador program, he represented Citrus College, welcomed others and built momentum toward a career in acting and directing.

What began as a practical route to several universities became a deeply personal college experience. Hiroyuki "Hiro" Inoue found community through the International Student Center and is now pursuing a future in physical therapy and sports training.
XINYUE "MARGARET" LIANG
A close-knit campus became the foundation for Xinyue "Margaret" Liang's next leap. Through mentorship, honors guidance and involvement in Phi Theta Kappa and Alpha Gamma Sigma, she prepared to transfer to Columbia University in New York City.

Once a chef searching for a new direction, Dominick Mason found purpose in computer engineering and possibility through study abroad. A month in Osaka deepened his appreciation for Japanese culture and expanded what he imagines for his future.

Small classes brought Rio Nakamachi to Citrus College; courage carried her forward. She confronted her fear of public speaking, supported other international students and worked with a trusted counselor to prepare for a sociology degree at UCLA.
