Citrus College international students lead the state in UC transfers
Our international students are transferring to University of California (UC) campuses in impressive numbers!
According to a transfer data report released by the UC system in August 2022, 98 international students from Citrus College applied for fall 2021 admission at a UC campus. Of these, 89 students received admission. With a 91% acceptance rate, Citrus College is ranked fifth in the state overall and first in the state among those community colleges with at least 50 applicants.
"The majority of the students who come to America to study at Citrus College come with a desire to transfer, and the University of California is the top university system in the world," said Dr. Gerald Sequeira, dean of enrollment services. "Having the highest admission rate to the University of California means we were successful in helping our international students achieve their educational goals."
