Citrus Alert — the emergency notification system used by Citrus College — will enable the college to communicate with students and employees quickly in the event of an emergency.

A Citrus Alert will be sent only to inform you of an imminent emergency, such as an act of nature (like fire, earthquake, floods), threat of violence, chemical hazard or other significant events such as a school closing or power outage.

Receive Messages by Text, Phone, Email
The Citrus Alert system will send messages to student-provided email and employees' Citrus email addresses, as well as up to six phone numbers that you wish to submit.

Your Contact Information
You may submit up to six phone numbers, including the number for one text messaging device. We strongly encourage you to submit as many methods as possible to increase our chances of reaching you in the event of an emergency.

The contact information submitted for the Citrus Alert system will be kept private and confidential. It will not be shared with other entities, but used only by Citrus College to communicate with you in the case of a school closing or emergency as determined by the administration.
