Foundation
About the Foundation
The Citrus College Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization established to
support and advance the college's mission. It is governed by a volunteer board of
directors made up of respected community leaders from the college's service area.
Board members may serve up to two three-year terms, with officer roles including president,
president-elect/vice president, secretary and treasurer. Daily operations are managed
by the college's director of the Foundation. Additionally, the Foundation guides the
college's alumni association, Citrus Alumni and Friends.

About Citrus College
Citrus College is a public community college that is part of the California Community
College system. It supports the economic development of the state and region by offering
a range of programs, including general education, career technical training, noncredit
courses and community education classes. Additionally, the college provides cultural
opportunities for the greater San Gabriel and Pomona Valleys. Established in 1915,
Citrus College is the oldest public community college in Los Angeles County and has
been serving the community for over a century.
