With the start of each term and the added pressure of class schedules, fees, and books, many students may experience increased levels of stress. Some students may feel particularly vulnerable during this time and experience severe anxiety and/or depression. Students who need support services can contact the Student Health Center for free personal counseling services by dialing (626) 914-8671 to schedule an appointment or simply stop by the office on the first floor of the Student Services building.

Campus Food Pantries
The college has three modest food pantries on campus. One is located in the Veterans Success Center, one in the Student Health Center, and another in the Foster Care and Kinship Office. Each food pantry is open to all students. Donations are welcome. Contact Rosario Garcia at ext. (626) 914-8603.
Use of Campus Showers
Currently enrolled students can use the college shower facilities from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday during all academic terms (except school holidays). Showers in PE 102B are available for men and showers in PE 136 are available for women.
Emergency Grant Funding Request
The emergency grant fund was created to provide eligible students facing short-term, non-reoccurring financial emergencies with a one-time grant. In order to ensure that the greatest number of students in need receive assistance, recipients are only eligible for one emergency grant funding, once per academic year.
