Please review the information below regarding 30-minute and 45-minute general counseling appointments to find your reason for scheduling a counseling/advising appointment.

Click on either the 30-minute or 45-minute appointment link based on the reason for your appointment. You can choose to have an in-person, Zoom video, or telephone appointment.

Please come to the Counseling and Advisement Center on the second floor of the SS building for in-person appointments. If you choose a telephone appointment, a counselor will call you. If you choose a Zoom video appointment, you will receive an email confirmation with the Zoom link.

Please use the Microsoft Outlook desktop app (instead of webmail) to access the Zoom link in your email confirmation.

The Zoom link is also available in the "View Appointment" option of the 30-minute and 45-minute appointment scheduler.

30-Minute General Counseling Appointments

  • I need a one or two semester student education plan.
  • I need to make changes to my student education plan.
  • I need help registering for classes.
  • I am a new student and I need some guidance.
  • I need information about transferring.
  • I received an email or call regarding Early Alert.
  • I need help with my university transfer application.
  • I have questions about college programs/services.

45-Minute General Counseling Appointments

  • I need a student education plan for my entire time here.
  • I need a student education plan for financial aid appeal.
  • I want to review unsatisfactory grades.
  • I want to know my status for graduation.
  • I have a personal non-academic concern/question.

Schedule an appointment with a counselor in the following areas: Black Scholars, international students, I Will Complete College (IWCC)/Promise, nursing, STEM, technical education (CTE), and veterans

To schedule an appointment with a counselor in a specialty area, click on the appropriate link below. If there are no appointments available or if you do not see a particular counselor, please use the general counseling online appointment scheduler in the Schedule Your Appointment section of this page. In-person appointments for specialty areas may not be located in the Counseling and Advisement Center – please refer to your appointment confirmation email for the location of your appointment. For appointments with a career counselor, please visit the Career Services Appointment Scheduling System web page.

Appointments for counselors in some specialty areas, as listed below, can be scheduled on the general counseling online appointment scheduler.

Counselors are available to assist students with the requests below on a first-come, first-served basis.

Drop-in counseling is available Monday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The last student will be added to the drop-in waitlist at 2:30 p.m.

Click here to use the drop-in scheduler. Students may choose to meet with a counselor in-person, via Zoom, or a telephone call. In-person drop-in is located in the Counseling and Advisement Center Short-Stop on the first floor of the SS Building (SS 101).

  • General information/questions
  • Math/English placement questions
  • Registration assistance

  • Information on which Citrus College courses are equal to courses at another college/university
