Message from Greg Schulz, Ed.D., superintendent/president
I hope this message finds you and your families well. I am very excited to invite each of you to Convocation 2021: Community. This virtual celebration via Zoom began at 8:30 a.m. on Friday, August 20.
You may view the recorded online event by clicking this link.
Join us as we launch the 2021-2022 academic year with a day full of thought-provoking and informative events. Following a musical performance from our very own FLEX Tones, members of the cabinet shared updates from their respective areas and then I shared a State of the College address. We also recognized new and promoted employees, as well as honored our longevity recipients.
Soon afterward, our accreditation co-leads
presented a general session on our upcoming accreditation visit. If you haven't already done so, I encourage you to review the college's Institutional Self-Evaluation Report (ISER), which was created for the current accreditation cycle. The report is available online at
https://www.citruscollege.edu/accreditation/2021/Documents/ISER2020.pdf
Convocation was followed by a virtual Academic Senate meeting, also on Zoom, at 11:30 a.m. and online divisional meetings between 12:45 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Convocation Schedule
Divisional Meetings from 12:45 p.m. to 4 p.m.
I am hopeful that you will attend and learn about the incredible work being done at Citrus College. I look forward to getting to know each of you as we work together to support student success.
Best wishes for a successful academic year! Go Owls!
