Explanation: The maximum number of units/hours a student may enroll in for a semester (fall and spring) is 21 units. The maximum number of units a student may enroll in a term/session (summer and winter) is 13 units. Students reinstated from academic or progress probation may be furthered limited in the number of units they may enroll in. High school students are subject to limits of 11 units in fall and spring and five units in winter and summer.
Resolution: A student wishing to take more than the maximum units/hours may file a petition through the
Counseling and Advisement Center. High school students wishing to enroll full time must receive approval from the
