As an instructor and the coordinator/program director, Professor Dawn Brewster has been a dental assistant since 1983 working in the dental office for 15 years and an educator since 1998. She is a RDA, CDA, and holds an Orthodontic Assistant Permit. Her credentials include a Ryan's Designated Subjects Teaching Credential in dental services, an Associate of Arts degree in business, and a bachelor's degree in business management with emphasis on leadership. As a chairside assistant, Mrs. Brewster worked in family practice where she assisted in general dentistry, periodontics and orthodontics. Her last 10 years of assisting, she found a love for orthodontics where she worked chairside, front office, and as a treatment coordinator. In 1998, Mrs. Brewster became an educator at Baldy View ROP, where she went to dental assisting school. Since, she has taught dental assisting at Chaffey College, Pasadena City College, Cerritos College, Moreno Valley College, and an instructor/program director at Baldy View ROP, American Career College and, currently, Citrus College. An advocate for students and the profession, Mrs. Brewster is active with the Dental Board of California, attending board meetings, workshops, and town hall meetings. She is a member of the American Dental Assistants Association and California Association of Dental Assisting Teachers. When she is not teaching, she loves to spend time with her two adult children and her husband.

Professor Wendy Flores has been a registered dental sssistant since 1995 having graduated from Cerritos College. She earned her bachelor's degree in business management from the National University and is currently working on her master's degree in organizational leadership, also from National University. She has a variety of dental assisting experience, including dental materials, radiology, infection control and dental specialties. Mrs. Flores has been teaching since March 2012 - currently as an adjunct professor at Citrus College, and, prior to Citrus, she taught full-time for six years at American Career College. When she is not teaching, Mrs. Flores enjoys keeping her skills current while working as a dental assistant in pediatric dentistry and as an endodontic assistant. Her areas of instruction are dental materials, dental specialties, chairside assisting, and radiology. She loves spending time with her family, her husband of over 25 years, daughter and granddaughter.

Professor Rina Gonzales is a graduate of Citrus College, earning her Associate in Science degree and a certificate from Citrus' Registered Dental Assisting program in 2001. Mrs. Gonzales also earned her bachelor's degree in organizational management from the University of La Verne. She has worked in the dental field since 1998 with experience in general dentistry and oral maxillofacial surgery. She joined the faculty team of the Citrus College RDA program in 2008. Currently, Mrs. Gonzales is a full-time instructor in the program with areas of instruction including dental materials, practice management, radiology, infection control and dental practical experience. Mrs. Gonzales belongs to the American Dental Assistants Association and California Dental Assistant Teachers Association. With long term goals of mastering her dental assisting instructional skills and continuing to contribute to the Citrus College community as a full-time faculty member, Mrs. Gonzales also enjoys spending time with her husband and two children.

Professor Erica Parry has been a part-time instructor in both clinical and classroom settings at Citrus College since 2010. As a Citrus College alumni of the RDA program (1999), Mrs. Parry received her Associate of Science degree from Citrus College in 2006. She extended her education by earning her bachelor's degree from University of La Verne in 2016. Mrs. Parry has many years experience in a dental office, with duties consisting of managing the dental team and assisting the doctor. Her current areas of instruction are chairside assisting, dental materials, infection control, dental specialties, coronal polishing, sealants, and in-service training. Mrs. Parry brings a wealth of information and experience to our students as well as a sense of humor that makes learning fun!
