The Research Experiences for Undergraduates Program is a collaborative effort between CSUF and Citrus College. Students go through an application process in order to participate in research with the College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics at CSUF. Congratulations to Maggie Lin, Rob Paul, Skye Harris, Carlos Sanchez, Michelle Yan, Marissa, and Susan Boone.
Undergraduate research experience is a key part of a STEM major; not only does it give the student the opportunity to apply what they learn in the classroom, but it also enhances the student's chance of landing a job in the STEM industry and/or being accepted to a STEM graduate school.
As final products student participants had to produce an oral presentation of their research, a scientific paper based on the research and a scientific poster and presentation.
