Current Citrus College Students
Current students should review the
Eligibility and Documentation or stop by the DSPS office to learn more.
Students with disabilities who are new to Citrus College should follow the same initial procedures as all students, with a few additional steps. Please review the
Checklist for New Students with Disabilities for detailed information.
Please note DSPS does not administer the Math and English assessment or New Student Orientation. Students should attend a
New Student Assessment/Orientation Session.
The assessment is untimed; students requiring accommodations for the assessment can inquire with the DSPS office, (626) 914-8675.
Once DSPS Counselors review documentation of disability, we’ll call you to schedule an intake appointment. Please make sure you leave a correct phone number, preferably with a working voicemail, with your documentation.
Intake appointments are one (1) hour long and include the following:
• Approval of educational accommodations
• DSPS Application and required intake forms
• One semester course advisement, this does not include registering for classes
• If you need immediate academic advisement, please contact the Counseling and Advisement Center at (626) 914-8530.
Recommended if your intake appointment falls after your class registration date.
