Appointments can be made in person at the DSPS Office (SS 133) or by phone, (626) 914-8675. Please speak clearly when leaving a message and include a phone number and your Citrus College Student ID number.

Once we have scheduled your appointment, please do not rely on a confirmation call. We strongly recommend setting a reminder on your cell phone or keeping your appointment receipt handy.

Cancellations/No-Shows
Please note that students who "no-show" three times within a six month period are restricted to same-day appointments for six months from the date of their third no-show. Students who are more than 10 minutes late for an appointment, it will be cancelled and considered a no-show.

Students must cancel or reschedule their counseling appointment at least 24 hours prior to their appointment date. Same day cancellations are considered a "no-show."  Students who "no-show" three times within a six month period are restricted to same-day appointments for six months from the date of their third no-show.

Students who would like to cancel or reschedule a learning disability testing appointment must provide three (3) days notice. Failure to do so is considered a "no-show." Students who "no-show" for a testing appointment must wait until the following semester to continue testing services, as appointment slots become available.

Same-Day Appointments
Appointments with DSPS counselors fill up quickly. Students are encouraged to plan ahead; important dates are posted in the DSPS office and website. Students requesting or restricted to same-day appointments will need to check in with the DSPS office to inquire about no-shows and cancellations.

Drop-In Appointments
In some cases, students may request a same-day appointment for drop-in services. These 15-minute appointments include:
• 3-peats
• Re-test referrals
• Transit letters
• Pre-requisite clearance
• Reduced course-load letters
• Brief advisement
• Declare a major
