Welcome to the Writing Center, where students can work on any writing assignment in a casual and comfortable environment.
Students can come to the Writing Center for help with writing from any class including assignments for essays and research papers/projects. The Writing Center can also assist with strategies for note taking, reading comprehension, writing lab reports, and in-class essay writing.
The Writing Center is located in the Learning Center, P1 109.
Appointments and Procedures
Writing Center offers both 30-minute one-on-one appointments,
as well as an open writing lab with no time limits.
Appointment sign-up sheet is available at 8 a.m. each morning at P1 109.
Appointments are available on a first come, first served, drop-in basis.
For your writing consultation, you must
• bring your current student identification card
• scan in at the front desk in P1 109

In order to maintain an academic environment conducive to learning, and for the safety of children in our community, per Citrus College Board Policy 4290, children will not be permitted in the following locations: Learning Center (P1 109) and Main Computer Lab (IS 107).
