Welcome! You are either enrolled in, or you are interested in enrolling in the Business 172 Distance Education class. As described in the class schedule, this course is the study of personnel management emphasizing employer/employee relationships, communications, employee selection, job analysis and description, job motivation and productivity, employee benefits, principles of collective bargaining, labor relations, O.S.H.A., and affirmative action.
Details regarding the course are set forth in the class web site (see below). When you go there, pay particular attention to the syllabus section and the assignment section.
First, it is important that you send me an email. If you are enrolled in the class, please email me now. Provide me with your full name and the email address you will be using during the duration of the semester. My email address information is tdurfield@citruscollege.edu
Next, on this class site (may not be available until the first day of class), review all materials by clicking on the navigation items on the left side of the browser window, and familiarize yourself with the course. Get your textbook and get started with your initial assignments. A major key to your success in this course will be keeping up with both the reading and the other assignments.
- Update email on WingSpan so it will transfer to Blackboard
- Your WingSpan ID becomes your Blackboard Username
- Your WingSpan PIN number (six digits only) becomes your Blackboard password
- To change these on Blackboard requires you change them on WingSpan
- Data will be transferred from WingSpan to Blackboard on a regular basis
