Welcome! You are either enrolled in, or you are interested in enrolling in, the Accounting 102 Distance Education class. As described in the class schedule, the objectives of this course are to finish reviewing financial accounting concepts and to discuss cost and managerial accounting. Financial accounting concepts such as long-term debt and cash flows will be covered before moving into the area of managerial accounting. Managerial accounting objectives are to provide management and employees timely feedback on the performance of the company operations so that management can plan ahead and make appropriate business decisions. Tools and techniques to evaluate efficiency and profitability such as process costing, break-even analysis, variance analysis and capital budgeting will be reviewed.

- Update email on WingSpan so it will transfer to Blackboard

- Your WingSpan PIN number (six digits only) becomes your Blackboard password
- To change these on Blackboard requires you change them on WingSpan
- Data will be transferred from WingSpan to Blackboard on a regular basis

Please be familiarized yourself with the course site and if you have any questions please email your instructor with your concern. Get your textbook and get started with your initial assignments. A major key to your success in this course will be keeping up with both the reading and the other assignments.
