The Early Childhood Career Ladder (ECCL) Program is an accredited program for CalWORKs, GAIN, or TANF recipients interested in career opportunities in the field of child care. This full-time weekday program offers training and education for students in Early Childhood Education. The program includes:
- Hands-on work experience with children.
- Child Development and General Education classes.
- Preparation for entry-level and advanced positions.
- A supportive learning environment.
- Workshops, tutoring & supervised study.
- Opportunities for on-site child care.
WHO IS ELIGIBLE?
- TANF/CalWORKs Recipient
- High school graduate (or able to obtain G.E.D.)
- Must qualify for financial aid
- Must pass fingerprint clearance through Community Care Licensing
- U.S.Citizen or Permanent Resident
- TB Test clearance
