  1. How do I order an official transcript online?
    Current students can login to WingSpan to order their transcript. In WingSpan, click on "Admissions and Records," then click on "Official Transcript Request."
    Former students without a WingSpan account will need to order their official transcript online through Credentials Solutions.
  2. What are the benefits to ordering transcripts online?
    • Eliminates the need to come to the college to make the request
    • Eliminates the delay created by submitting a written request by mail
    • Expedites your order (most orders fulfilled automatically)
    • Allows credit card payments
    • Facilitates the authorization to release student records as required by law
    • Allows you to submit your request any time of day or night
    • Provides email or fax communication with you while your order is being processed
    • Provides operator assistance from 5 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 5 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday, by calling 1-800-646-1858
    • Allows you to track the status of your request online
    • Allows you to receive a confirmation email when transcript order is complete

    To track the status of your order, including reviewing or updating your order, you can do so online by clicking here for Credentials Self-ServicePlus.
  4. How long does it take to process online transcripts?
    Online transcript requests are processed in three (3) to five (5) business days. Rush transcripts are NOT available.
  5. Can I order an official transcript in person?
    Yes. In person transcripts are processed in 15 business days. Student must complete a transcript request form, pay applicable fees, and provide a valid photo ID when requesting transcripts.
  6. What if I only want an unofficial transcript? Is there a fee?
    There is no fee for printing an unofficial transcript on WingSpan. Current students and former students who have access to WingSpan can print their unofficial transcripts online. Login to WingSpan and click on the "Admissions and Records" tab, then click on "Student Records" tab, and then click on "Unofficial Transcript" tab. Coursework prior to Fall 1983 is not available online.
    Former students without a WingSpan account and former students who do not have access to WingSpan will need to order an official transcript online. Please click here to go to our official transcript ordering page. Official transcript ordering fees apply.
  7. Do you offer rush service? How long will it take to process my order and for the transcript to get to its location?
    Citrus College does not provide rush service. Transcripts will be sent out as soon as your order is fully processed and authorized.
    For quicker service, please use online ordering. Mailing time depends on whether you choose regular USPS first class mail or FedEx.
  8. How do I request for pick up at the Admissions office?
    When requesting your transcripts, you will have the option to pick up in person in the Admissions and Records Office. Students that request pick up service must present a picture ID when picking up their transcripts in the Admissions and Records Office.
  9. Can someone else pick up the transcripts for me?
    Students may authorize a third party to pick up transcripts on their behalf. If ordering online, student must provide the third party name in the "issue to" section. Students may also turn in a student release form in person to the Admissions and Records office. The release form gives access to student records, including transcripts, to a third party. When picking up transcripts, the third party must show his or her picture ID.
  10. How much does the transcript cost?
    Each transcript is $5 per copy. There is an additional charge for online ordering and for expedited delivery online. Expedited delivery pricing and more information about this option is available while ordering your transcript.
  11. I have an attachment that must be included with my transcript, what should I do?
    While filling out your online request, there will be a section where you can indicate that you have an attachment and you will be given instructions for attaching it online. In person requests and mail in requests can submit paperwork with the request.
  12. I want to order my transcript, but I'm waiting for final grades, a grade change, academic renewal or another change. Can I order it now and have it held until my transcript is updated?
    If you are waiting for changes or updates to be made to your transcript, you should wait until you see these changes posted in your WingSpan account before you place your order. For online transcript requests you can select either hold for final grades or hold for degree.
  13. How do I know my final grades, grade changes, academic renewal or other changes have been posted on my transcript?
    If you have access to WingSpan, please check your unofficial transcript to make sure the changes have posted. If you cannot access WingSpan, you can contact the Admissions and Records office at (626) 914-8511.
  14. How do I know if I have a WingSpan account?
    Current students have a WingSpan account. Students who have attended Citrus College within the last couple of years may still be able to access their WingSpan account using their student ID and PIN number.
  15. I can't remember my login information for WingSpan. What should I do?
    WingSpan has a way for you to reset your pin. If you can't remember your student ID, contact Admissions and Records at (626) 914-8511.
  16. What if I was an international student while attending Citrus College and I can't remember my student ID number and I do not have a social security number?
    If you can't remember your student ID, contact Admissions and Records at (626) 914-8511. WingSpan has a way for you to reset your pin. We ask that international students enter 111223333 in place of the social security number on their online order.
  17. I can't remember exactly when I attended, but it might have been before 1983. What should I do?
    If you believe you may have attended before 1983, you MUST put your start date of attendance as 1982 or your transcript may be incomplete.

    Yes, please provide any and all former names you may have had while attending Citrus College. If you do not provide this information your order may be delayed.

    Yes. Please make sure to write your international address clearly to avoid delays.

    CSU GE certification is for students transferring to California State Universities who want to confirm that they have completed the transfer requirements for their CSU. Students begin this process with their counselor. For more information about requirements, please click here.
    Certifications should only be requested on the last (final) transcript going to your transfer school. If you have not completed the CSU GE, you are not ready to send your transcript with this certification. If you have enough coursework completed, a partial CSU certifications may be sent.
  21. What is IGETC certification?
    IGETC certification is similar to CSU GE certification except it is for University of California schools. This process begins with your counselor. For more information see your counselor. For more information about requirements, please click here.

Once you have the IGETC or CSU GE certification, it is permanently on your transcript and you do not need to request to post it to the transcript again.

    You can check your unofficial transcript through WingSpan to see if you have the IGETC or CSU GE certification. If you do not have a WingSpan account, request an official transcript and select the certification you need and we will make sure your transcript contains the proper certification. Please note this may delay the processing of your transcript. If you are using high school transcripts to meet the language requirement other than the English requirement for IGETC, please make sure your high school transcripts are on file with the Admissions and Records Office.

If you do not have a WingSpan account, request an official transcript and select the certification you need and we will make sure your transcript contains the proper certification.     Yes. If you have completed the classes you need to finish your certification, you must request the CSU certification on your transcript order so we can reevaluate your transcript. This will increase the processing time for your transcripts.

    No. Once you receive a completed IGETC or CSU GE certification, it is permanently on your transcript and you do not need to request it again.
  28. Can I get a partial CSU GE certification?
    Yes. If you have only completed certain areas for the CSU GE certification we will indicate which sections have been completed on your transcript. Please remember to request CSU GE certification on your transcript order.
  29. Can I get a partial IGETC?
    Partial IGETC certification is defined as completing all but two (2) courses on the IGETC pattern. If you are using high school transcripts to meet the language requirement other than the English requirement for IGETC, please make sure your high school transcripts are on file with the Admissions and Records Office.
    We do not give partial IGETC certification to students who are currently enrolled in the classes necessary to complete their IGETC. We will give partial IGETC certifications only to students who have already finished their coursework at Citrus College and have transferred out to a UC or CSU. Each UC or CSU campus will inform a student that has submitted a partial certified IGETC of the specific timelines and courses needed to complete the IGETC. The UC or CSU is responsible for verifying that the missing IGETC courses(s) have been completed.
