Welcome!

As Superintendent/President of Citrus College, I thank you for visiting our website. We understand you have many options for higher education and appreciate your taking the time to learn more about what Citrus College has to offer.

I would like to personally invite you to become part of this outstanding college community. Citrus College serves the diverse educational needs of thousands of students each year - whether they are recent high school graduates just beginning their college experience, or those wishing to transfer to a four-year institution, or others wanting to change or enhance their careers.

From our dedicated governing board, to our experienced and enthusiastic faculty and staff, we are determined to do all we can to help turn students' academic dreams into realities. Whether it is through the grand opening of our new $19 million Visual Arts Building, the continued development of our Institute for Completion or expanding student support programs, Citrus College strives to provide students with the tools they need to complete their goals. Our number one priority is student success and completion.

Citrus College offers a wide range of degrees that transfer seamlessly to four-year institutions for students planning to pursue a baccalaureate degree. Our dynamic academic programs include Administration of Justice, Business Administration, Journalism, Kinesiology, Liberal Arts/Humanities, Social and Behavioral Sciences, and Theatre Arts, just to name a few. We also offer diverse career and technical programs such as Automotive Technology, Biotechnology, Dental Assisting, Digital and Web Design, Emerging Theatre Technologies, Vocational Nursing, and more.

For over a century, Citrus College has transformed lives and served as a gateway to opportunity. Our stellar reputation as a leader in higher education has been recognized with national, state and regional accolades. For example, the college was ranked seventh in the state for the number of Associate Degrees for Transfer awarded. In 2016, Citrus College was recognized as the number one community college in the nation for awarding associate degrees in fine and performance arts to Hispanic students, by The Hispanic Outlook in Higher Education. The same national publication ranked the college an impressive twelfth place for the number of associate degrees awarded to Hispanic students.

As you consider pursuing your education with Citrus College, I hope you will use our website as a helpful tool to plan for and achieve your educational goals - no matter what they may be.

If you have not already done so, I encourage you to visit our beautiful campus and discover for yourself why Citrus College was named San Gabriel Valley's Best Community College! We welcome your visit and invite you to join our vibrant learning community.

On behalf of the Citrus Community College District Board of Trustees, faculty and staff, I wish you every success.
