The mission of the Emergency Management and Homeland Security program is to prepare individuals to respond to, and be effective before, during, and after any local, statewide, or national emergency.
The program curriculum provides students with a broad education in emergency management. Students completing this program will have an understanding of how individuals and organizations should respond during disasters, and demonstrate an understanding of industry standards in emergency management for the purpose of being able to apply this knowledge during a disaster situation.
