Head Coach
Tim Kyle

Head Coach Tim Kyle begins his first season at the helm of the Lady Owls Water Polo team, and is also the Head Men’s and Women's Swim Coach.
Kyle began his collegiate career here at Citrus where he went for 2 years. Upon leaving Citrus Kyle moved onto the University of La Verne where he graduated with his Bachelor’s Degree in 1997. After obtaining his Bachelor’s Kyle went on to get his Master Degree from Azusa Pacific University where he graduated in 1998.
Kyle’s coaching career began in the same place his collegiate playing days started, right here at Citrus College. Kyle has been the Head Men’s Swim Coach for the past 9 season, coaching various All-American honorees as well as many future Division I transfers. For the last 3 years Kyle has also served as the Head Women’s Swim Coach.
Along with his duties at Citrus College Kyle also is a personal trainer and automotive detailer. Kyle enjoys camping with his family, loves going to the river and boating, and maintains that he is physically active all the time. Kyle is married to Tricia and has a step-son named Tyler.
Assistant Coach
Brandon Rivas
Assistant Coach Brandon Rivas is in his second season with the women’s water polo program. Rivas played one season for the Fighting Owls in 2007, scoring 12 goals and recording three assists.
Out of high school, Rivas attended Pomona Pitzer College where he played one season for the Sagehens and former Fighting Owl Alex Rodriguez. Prior to Pitzer, Rivas laid claim to a successful high school career where he played three varsity seasons for Charter Oak High School, earning 2nd team All-CIF honors as a senior.
Rivas is married to former Lady Owl Crystal Fabela and resides with her in Covina, CA.
