Men’s Water Polo Shutdown By Ventura
Glendora, CA (Men’s Water Polo) -- Having won six of their last eight games, the Citrus College Men’s Water Polo team has been playing some of its best water polo of the season. Unfortunately for them though, the Fighting Owls ran into the #6 team in the State Ventura College in Wednesdays WSC match-up and were shutdown by the Pirates 15-8.Full article »

Glendora, CA (Men’s Water Polo) -- Missing three of their top players the Citrus College Men’s Water Polo team struggled in the second and third periods against Cuesta College in their Western State Conference opener. Citrus was out-scored 9-1 in those two quarters, something that proved to be the difference in their 8-13 loss.Full article »

Glendora, CA (Men’s Water Polo) -- It had been two weeks since the Citrus College Men’s Water Polo team had been in the water, and at times it showed in Friday afternoon’s meeting with Miramar. Luckily for Citrus, they were just the better team as Sophomore Josh Rodriguez scored a game high four goals in a 16-7 win for the Fighting Owls.Full article »

Glendora, CA (Men’s Water Polo) -- There may be no greater axiom in the sports world than, “there’s no I in team.” The Citrus College Men’s Water Polo team was the perfect example of this saying on Wednesday night as they beat visiting Chaffey College 17-10. The Fighting Owls had seven different players record at least two goals, and 15 of their 17 scores came along with an assist.Full article »
