Glendora, CA (Men’s Soccer) -- Sophomore Rafael Garcia was Citrus’ lone representative on the All-Western State Conference 1st team list, as a total of four Fighting Owls, all sophomores, earned All-Conference honors for their play during the 2009 season.Full article »

Glendora, CA (Men’s Soccer) -- The Citrus College Men’s Soccer team had a tough task on Friday afternoon, as they hosted Canyons College and the conference’s leading scorer in Andres Bueno. Bueno was exactly what he was advertised as he rocked the Fighting Owls for four goals in a 5-1 loss for Citrus.Full article »

Glendora, CA (Men’s Soccer) -- With 25 minutes left in their Western State Conference contest with Allan Hancock College, the Citrus College Men’s Soccer team looked as if they were on their way to their first conference victory of the season with a 2-0 lead. That’s when the Fighting Owls went Chernobyl and melted down giving up four goals in the final 25 minutes in a 4-2 loss to the Bulldogs.Full article »

Glendora, CA (Men’s Soccer) -- Upon first inspection of the stats from Citrus College’s men’s soccer match-up with Oxnard, it might seem like the Fighting Owls nearly defeated the Condors. Despite Citrus firing just two shots less than Oxnard, the Fighting Owls were still far away as the Condors more than doubled Citrus’ shots on goal and corner kicks in a 0-1 loss on Friday afternoon.Full article »
